The Intro to Platform Workshop explores the fundamentals of public speaking and platform speeches with a focus on Informative and Persuasive. The recording is divided into 5 short teaching sessions: Introduction to Platform Speeches, Researching Ideas, Drafting Your Speech, Upgrading Your Style, and Memorizing & Delivering. Each session is accompanied by activities to help students prepare a Platform speech. Each session (recording + activities) should take approximately 30 for a family and 60 minutes for a larger group to complete. In addition to the recordings and activities, the Intro to Platform Workshop includes session transcripts, slide deck, and materials for the activities.
